Meeting in the sun

Founding partners Ian Jackson and Jim Bird have been meeting in Spain this month to discuss ‘arts’ publishing projects in collaboration with writers, poets, artists and photographers.

Jim, who has studios in both Majorca and the Spanish mainland, is enjoying huge success with major exhibitions in Europe of his abstract expressionism. His Arts Foundation in Spain, in memory of wife Dorothy, is dedicated to raising funds for leukemia research, and a recent art auction saw many world-renowned contemporary artists donating work, including Britain’s leading sculptor Sir Anthony Caro.
