Waterfront South Launch

Jackson Bird organised the launch of developer Jessup’s £65m flagship Walsall canal side development of apartments, houses, offices, restaurants and café bars on the 19th September at the New Art Gallery Walsall. The guest speaker was Professor David Bellamy, one of the most recognisable faces and voices in conservation, ecology and environmental matters.

David delivered a lecture to over 100 invited guests on world ecology and the impact of the built environment on the natural world. After reviewing the plans and scale model of the development David complemented Jessups for their focus on sound environmental design and construction.

This occasion was the inaugural event for THE JESSUP LECTURES, where leaders in all aspects of the built environment, design, architecture, building technologies, housing and urban landscape will be invited to speak, bringing wider focus to the debate on the future of land use and the built environment.
